Punjab Public service Commission (PPSC) has announced 4753 permanent posts of Charge Nurses BPS-16 today. These nurses will be recruited in the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department of the Government of Punjab. However, there is a sad news for male registered nurses (RNs) as these posts are only for females.

The SPSC advertisement number is 44/2017 and the serial number of the charge nurses posts is 454. You can use this as a reference in your correspondence.
There are total 4753 (four thousand seven hundred and fifty-three) posts of charge nurses. Out of these posts. 143 are reserved for disabled quota person’ quota and 237 are reserved for minorities’ quota.
Male RNs are not eligible to apply. Female nurses having generic BSN degree or general nursing plus midwifery diplomas can apply. The diploma or degree should be registered with Pakistan Nursing Council.
Moreover, those nurses whose diploma of or degree is not registered with PNC can also apply. However, they have to apply for PNC card before the closing date. They have to submit the PNC application slip with proper sign and stamp of PNC.
Furthermore, it may be noted that preference will be given to the graduates of Government institutions. Candidates bearing domicile certificate of any district of Punjab can apply.
21 to 28 years old female candidates can apply. Age relaxation in the upper age limit is 8 years. Hence, the upper age limit would be 36 years.
