Inclusion of Males in the Eligibility Criteria
Usually, the Punjab Government announces the Charge Nurses’ vacancies only for female candidates. However, this time the vacancies are for both male and female candidates. Furthermore, recently Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) had announced different posts for males, females, and also shemales in Health and other departments of Punjab. For example, see this advertisement: https://pakistaninurses.net/2017/06/nursing-instructor-bps-17-through-ppsc/
Only for BSc Nursing Degree Holders
Interestingly, the current vacancies are only for BSN degree holders. Whereas, nursing diploma holders are not eligible for these posts.
